Kiegan, an only child was born on June 17th 1979 in Hereford, due to his late father being in the SAS (Special Air Service) where they are still based today.
At the age of four, Kiegan became deaf in both ears with a hearing loss of 80dB and has worn hearing aids ever since. This has led to Kiegan becoming a master in the art of body language and lipreading and you’ll see why the discovery of magic has become Kiegan’s biggest passion and drive.

Kiegan was always very sporty having represented the Hereford County at table tennis, pole vaulting and cross-country. At the age of 14 won the league and cup with his local football team. Chess captain at his secondary school and captain of his University football team.

In 2001, After leaving University, Kiegan’s first proper job was a database administrator working for the NHS Hereford Hospital, creating robust databases.

2003, after gaining a teaching qualification Kiegan became an IT teacher. He found it very rewarding, but slightly difficult in a classroom environment due to his disability.

2006, Kiegan discovered Hypnosis and was amazed at how naturally competent he was. since then he has hypnotised hundreds of people on stage and off.

July 2008 in London, Kiegan was introduced to close-up magic after meeting professional magician Lee Smith and was absolutely blown away. It was this very day that Kiegan realised what was to to become his niche, as it doesn’t require importance of being able to hear and is highly rewarding as you entertain people and put grins on their faces.

Summer 2008, Kiegan started learning intensively anything magic and making lots of new magic friends whom have been influential  and co-operative in assisting Kiegan with his knowledge and skills, they still continue to do so today and the network of magic friends expands.

January 2009, one of Kiegan’s mate from the cricket team coined the name Hypnogician after witnessing Kiegan perform a stage hypnosis show and many new magic tricks at the social meets.

Febuary 2009, The domain was brought and Kiegan’s drive and passion begins.

July 2009, Kiegan becomes a member of the Sussex Magic circle
2010 – Attended Blackpool Magic Convention (World’s largest magic convention)

June 2011 – Kiegan becomes a member of  The Hereford Magicial Society

When performing, It’s not imperative to have good hearing, but having influence, charisma and showmanship has gained Kiegan much respect as a magician & hypnotist.

2013 – Kiegan was voted Best Entertainment (non musical) in the UK by Wedding Industry Experts

2014 – Kiegan was voted Best Live Entertainment in Herefordshire by Herefordshire Wedding Suppliers.
2015 – Kiegan was again rewarded Best Live Entertainment in Herefordshire by Herefordshire Wedding Suppliers.
